URWLD’s Exciting Middle East Launch in Riyadh
URWLD, known for its indoor adventure and sports-lifestyle destinations, is set to open its first Middle Eastern venue in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This announcement was made during the inaugural TOURISE Summit, which took place in the capital from November 11-13, 2025.
A Hub of Adventure and Hospitality
Featuring over a dozen thrilling sports and activities under one roof, URWLD offers a unique blend of hospitality and lifestyle-inspired dining experiences. This venue is designed to attract both adventure enthusiasts and those who prefer to watch. Over the past two years, URWLD has collaborated with key Saudi government entities, including the Ministry of Investment and the General Entertainment Authority.
Expanding Across Saudi Arabia
Scheduled to open before 2030, the Riyadh location is just the beginning of URWLD’s ambitious plans to expand across the Kingdom. Future sites are anticipated in major cities like Jeddah. The Riyadh venue will feature activities such as indoor surfing, scuba diving, climbing, and archery, along with Saudi Arabia’s first indoor ice climbing and caving facilities, catering to all skill levels.
Innovative Dining and Entertainment
Guests can enjoy chef-inspired dining with a local twist, all while overlooking the action. The venue will also include wellness studios, retail outlets, private event spaces, and a variety of programs, including live events and immersive virtual reality experiences throughout the year.
Shaping the Future of Active Leisure
Kevin Bacon, co-founder and CEO of URWLD, expressed enthusiasm about the venture, stating, “As people embrace healthier lifestyles and seek more engaging experiences, we believe the next two decades will be the ‘active age.’ We’re thrilled to launch URWLD in Riyadh and contribute to Saudi Arabia’s dynamic sports-entertainment scene, offering exciting ways for people to stay active.”

URWLD Riyadh is expected to generate over 500 jobs and serve as a venue for various events, from competitions to corporate gatherings.
